This week in Bangkok a Thai Buddhist mediation master, Acharavadee Wongsakon who has seen the future, called for action on “Internet induced climate change”. The qualification of mediation master is recognized by Thailand National Office of Buddhism.

Acharavadee said that she could see that the world would be in crisis from Internet induced climate change, which is caused by energy waves and heat produced by facilities necessary to running the Internet, especially from the ever-growing data farms containing endless cloud servers to house all those selfies, messages and social media posts that billions of people in the world were producing by the minute.

Acharavadee this month released a book in Thailand entitled GLOBAL WARMING CRISIS – AND AN UNSPOKEN TRUTH. In the book Acharvadee cited a special report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) of the United Nations supporting her visions of the impending climate crisis the world faces. The report warned of an imminent ‘climate catastrophe’.

Master Acharavadee saw what scientists are predicting, and implored the world to pay attention NOW before it is too late!”It is up to each one of us to stop feeding these cloud storage facilities with unnecessary digital data, and thereby reduce the energy waves and heat”, said Wongsakon.

Cloud servers and hosting data have became big business for companies like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft who were competing for customer’s cloud storage business. Social media platforms induced us to keep producing more content by enticing us to post and repost, faster and faster, filling up miles of cloud servers at an alarming rate and creating demand for more cloud storage space. These data centers, also known as cloud farms, were producing massive amounts of heat and energy waves as they grow. The electricity that powers these cloud farms is still for the most part generated from fossil fuels. The more fossil fuels the world uses, the more carbon dioxide is produced and carbon dioxide trapped in the atmosphere causes a greehouse effect and the planet to heat up. At the same time carbon dioxide affects human cognitive abilities.

So the Internet that we all assumed would make us smarter, is now allegedly having the opposite effect as it floods our atmosphere with carbon dioxide and energy waves, according to Acharavadee Wongsakon. Master Acharavadee stated that this is not only a battle to save our planet from becoming unbearably hot, but it is also battle for our minds.

Acharavadee told to The Bali Times Newspaper that “If all of us would spend 15 minutes a day deleting unnecessary digital data from social media and old emails, the world would cool down”.

Let’s reduce the world heat by a simple personal responsibility to getting rid of the unnecessary digital data in own devices, together we can make it.
